« Really unhappy with my stay, I used here as a base for relocating and looking for jobs and interviews and arrived to no hot water after unpacking to then be moved to another Mobil home, and which made it a late night and start my week of internet’s and house hunting “on the back foot” I showered Monday morning to “Luke warm” water to head out, came back to ask for more support. Waited around at lunchtime for someone to pop round to again be told no hot water and they’d move me again , I wasn’t prepared for that to “add” to my week. So unhappy with the “maintenance” of the Mobil homes »

« We arrived around 5pm Sunday 31st August and the shop fridge was pretty much empty, this resulted in us having to do a one hour round trip to find a shop that sold the essentials, not great after a 7 hour drive to get there. The site states that all facilities are available all season so would have expected the shop to have things like milk, butter, bread, cheese. Overall a good site but this wasn’t a great first impression . »

« The site is lovely, facilities are pretty good and the location is great (nearby supermarkets), right on a lovely, shallow, calm lake (still water, not windy) with a beautiful, clean beach. However, the campsite really does try its best to suck all the enjoyment out of your holiday. They have an "enforcer" down by the pool who descends on unsuspecting 3 and 4 year olds as soon as they arrive demanding to know who their parent is (I am NOT exaggerating - we saw it happen multiple times), so they can instruct the parent to go the site shop straight away (even when the shop is closed!) and buy Speedos for their child - sadly, this is one of those campsites that enforces the stupid French law from 1903 that bans people from wearing loose fitting swimwear in public pools. Welcome to France, little ones - that was their first encounter! They also insisted we couldn't eat anything around the poolside, explain that to my permanently hungry 2 year old. No drinks (from the bar) at the pool. You can buy snacks (pizza, sandwich, burger, etc.) from the bar, but you can't eat them there (despite acres of unused tables and chairs spanning the bar and restaurant (which are adjacent to each other) - you have to buy it and then walk back to your pitch/cabin to eat it there, when it's nice and cold!! So no, you can't move from the pool, have lunch at the bar and then go back to the pool (all within spitting distance of each other). That would be way too convenient. I could go on with the fun-sucking rules, but I think that's enough. Hygiene was an issue too - I was nappy changing at the toilets by the pool and noticed there was no soap in the dispenser, not ideal when dealing with poo - I told one of the staff at the bar and she looked at me like "why are you telling me?" [Typical rubbish service, so I had to go to Reception myself and tell them], she instead tells me to go use the restaurant toilets because she said, "there is usually soap in there" - nice to know the site restaurant usually allows you to clean your hands - gross. »

« Rated 5 star - The pools were small with the main pool having insufficient seating, with the adult pool above it having plenty seating, but nobody using the pool. The shop facilities were very basic. The cabin was nice, the jacuzzi was very dated and had to be repaired during the visit, though this was carried out quickly when requested, by a helpful technician. Some staff in the restaurant and shop made every effort not to communicate unless in French, even when the effort was made to communicate with them and some had an openly bad attitude, mainly the restaurant manager and the lady operating the shop, though the management claim French and English is used on the site, their attitude was very poor, we stopped engaging soon after arrival and used nearby local shops and restaurants. I travel abroad all the time and holiday abroad a number of times a year and it is unrealistic to have to learn the language of every country I visit for a week fluently, but I do make an effort, but little effort was made for the sites non French speaking customers by some staff members. Though the lady at check-in was very nice and any of the services staff around the site were friendly. This camp is more suited to French native speakers, from both a language and culture perspective , wouldn’t recommend it if not French, Belgian etc. »

« We had a very lovely stay. There were a few things with the accommodation which needed a bit of attention / maintenance but over all we had a great stay. »

« Lovely clean site, well maintained, great location, great facilities. Snack bar remained closed for the majority of our stay which was disappointing. On check in i didnt receive a warm welcome from the lady at reception who provided no other information to me other than to point out where our accommodation location was. »
